Catching up

It has been a long time since my last post. I'll let the pictures and a few words tell the story.

Ikey is continuing to get bigger and more interactive. We are all crazy about him. This was back in the early spring - just have to document his growth on here.

During the first warm days of spring, we braved a playground and the girls were in heaven - finally, we were out of the house! =)

They've become good buddies (for the most part)

Just before 3 months, he started sucking his thumb and while it's very helpful for getting himself to sleep, it is so stinking cute. This is when he first started.

We celebrated Easter with cousins - nothing like dyeing eggs late into the night

Ikey's first day at church. Yes he's huge - I was paranoid about germs. =)

Another outing - yay!! Felt so good to get out of the house.

And another! Had to post this pic because of those cute faces:

We started swimming lessons in prep for a summer trip to Lake Powell - both girls LOVED them (see E's face and that's R in the background). E only took a few lessons in order to overcome her fear of leaning back in the tub.

Check out her float. awesome.

Being stuck in the house with a sleeping newborn and cold weather has forced us to come up with lots of different things to do. R loves projects - anything with her Dad is at the top of her list.

She also loves to create different scenes - I love them - either for us, her babies, or the polly pockets. She goes through great lengths to set them up and then she loves for us to come "visit":

The dentist for babies:

Gymnastics for polly pockets:

Church for her babies - see the microphone at the podium?:

A "pink party" for the babies:

Gymnastics - this was the Olypmics with floor, beam and a few new events. R and E "competed" for a good while performing some intense routines:

E already dressing up ikey:

"Dr. Budgie" - she told me the sunglasses were very important.

First bath all together:

Celebrating Dad's bday:

These munchkins LOVE their dad:

He kils me:

R is earning money for an American Girl Doll. She really wanted to do a lemonade stand, but I didn't have anything for that. So she asked if she could sell bread. I decided I needed to bite the bullet and help her set up a stand. She helped me make the bread and she made the signs and thought of all the things we would need. She was so excited! I was worried no one would stop by, but neighbors came, and we even had some random moms stop and cheer for "free enterprise" - it was a great morning!

These are very recent pictures that sum up a lot of our days.
Polly pockets by morning (serious cleaning of the castles):

Adventures outside by afternoon:

Three is feeling a tich more manageable now. I think the warm weather helps.

Okay, I'm doing some catching up on your catching up. R's set ups are killer. What a great imagination. I can't believe Budgie is already 3! Where did the time go? And Ikey's haircut? Be still my beating heart. He's a doll. I know summer's over now but it looks like you guys made the most of it. Wish I could have stopped by for some homemade bread. :)
